Hi there knitting world,
I have fallen far behind the rest of this world. I have been knitting like crazy and I have been working like crazy. Of the two I'd prefer to make a good living doing the prior, as I am sure 90% if not 100% of you are in agreement with. I post today knowing my shawl sits waiting for me and so do the socks for my mother-in- law for Christmas. However, as I listen to Bono on my Ipod and look through LImeand Violet's blog, sticksand string blog, and cast-on. I feel I have let myself down by not keeping this journal up to par. I'm even worsened when I'm trying to cath up and read as fast as I can the "Yarn Harlot" blog to see what Stephanie is now doing. I'm not quite 30 and I look at these people who in my eyes are masters, where they may consider themselves novices. I sit here typing away and I ask myself why have you been knitting for 4 years and not tried a sweater, intarsia, or even Fair Isle. I believe I can do these and even if I hit a stumbling block I'm sure there is someone out there that could talk me through things. I hope someone reads this keep me encouraged to write and knit.
thanks from NY

Hello my fellow knitters,
Today is a beautiful day in CNY and I'm not outside knitting. This is crazy. Well, I want to pass along somethings, I like thousands before me, have caught up on my Cast-on podcasts with Brenda Dayne she is a delight to listen to. I also am caught up on my Pixie Purls podcast. She is so bubbly and funny. I share some of her woes. I'm also reading Knit one, Kill two by Maggie Sefton. I can't read it fast enough. I guess that can wrap up knitting fun 4 well podcast listeners and readers. Hope you are following along with some of my adventures. If you'd like to drop me a line you can contact me at DivaMissV@yahoo.com
Have fun knitting everyday.

Hey There Knitting World. This is my first Blog ever And I welcome any veteran blogger for help in enhancing my blog.
First I'd like to take some time as to why I decided to blog today and a little about myself. I am from NY however Very far upstate, actually Central NY so any one in the CNY area also interested in KNitting I would love to hear from you to know what local things we can offer. I'm in my late 20's and started knitting approx. 3 and 1/2 years ago. I took a class at my local A.C Moore after failed attepmts with my mom and great aunt. I have known how to Crochet since I was 9 and doa lot of different needlecrafts. I have my B.A. in theatre, backstage no glamorous actress here. I also minored in Psychology and love compairing my knitting to many different things about psychology.
OK why I'm trying to blog and I apologize for rambling. First I finished my first pair of Socks today, even though they look a little off I love them. Next I was in my local Michael's and a women in her 50's or even older asked me, yes ME, what was a seed stitch and I knew exactly how to answer. 3 years ago I would have had a dull, blank look on my face and been like I have no idea. But I told her with ease, You knit 1 purl1 and in the next row you knit into your purled stitches and pulr into the knitted stiches.
She opened the ball band of some lion brand suede and there is was just what I told her. She was so appreciative, and I explained I did a swatch in the same thing she was buying and I think she'll like it. She was so sweet and I felt so good. I got home finished the toe of my sock and had a great day, given the fact that I have not been feeling great do to woes at work.
I hope I haven't borde any1 and I hope to hear from people soon.
Thanks NYGURLKNITS
